Very cool plugin, Ed! I love it!

There are only two things I can think of to make it even better:

1) If you could add some uniquely identifiable HTML elements to separate the ink from the recognized text, that would be really cool, Ed!

I'd love to be able to add some CSS to hide the recognized text unless the user hovers or clicks or something, but the HTML that's generated by your plugin currently just wraps everything in identical <p> tags. :)

Perhaps a <span class="inkimage"> and <span class="inktext"> could be helpful to separate the two pieces of your HTML?

2) Some way to select a chunk of ink and make a hyperlink out of it. I can imagine this would be trickier to do, but it would be so handy to have, that you might even be able to make a few bucks off it, if you figure it out! (I know I'd be willing to pay something for an inkable blogging client that worked as easily as Live Writer with your plugin and supported inked hyperlinks!)

great plug in! i totally agree with kenneth's suggestions, it would be great to have that kind of functionality. at the least, it would be nice to have the recognized text be the 'title' and 'alt' attributes of the image.
